St Mary's University are proud to launch physics for non-specialist teachers, a CPD course that supports qualified teachers develop their subject knowledge and teaching practice in the physics GCSE curriculum. 

This hybrid course blends face to face practical input with online subject knowledge development sessions and 1-1 mentoring to identify strategies to diagnose and treat common misconceptions teachers and  school students encounter in the GCSE curriculum. 

Sessions are led by Stephen Hearn. Stephen has over 20 years teaching experience in physics and extensive experience supporting the next generation of physics teachers. 

Cost is £75 for each subject, discounted to £67.50 for our partner schools.
